MIDBLOM - from the Old Norse for 'midsummer bloom' - was built on a single observation: in the Nordic wilderness, plants spend months locked under snow and ice. Then, in a few concentrated weeks of summer light, they pack every nutrient and defence they'll need to survive the next year.

That moment is when we harvest.

Not year-round. Not from greenhouses. Harvested when Arctic cloudberry, sea buckthorn, lingonberry, and rosehip are at absolute peak potency - during the weeks when the sun barely sets and biological activity is at its highest.

We made one other decision that changed everything we were building: no fillers.

Conventional skincare is loaded with them. Silicones that sit on the surface. Synthetic thickeners that give a product its feel without giving your skin anything real. Stabilisers and emulsifiers that take up space where active botanicals should be.
